Transportation Update: Getting Around During Masters 2026 🚌

Updated: 4 days ago

As we continue preparing for the 2026 Yonex Canadian Masters Championships, we want to share important information about transportation between venues and the Coast Capri.

We know that getting around during a busy tournament week can be challenging, and our goal is to make the experience as smooth and comfortable as possible for all participants.

Shuttle Services (Complimentary) 🚌

To support athletes, we are providing complimentary shuttle services between venues.

Venue-to-Venue Shuttle (On-Demand)

  • Two small shuttle vehicles will operate between Kelowna Badminton Club ↔ Memorial Arena

  • These will run on demand throughout the day to help players move between venues efficiently

Coast Capri Shuttle (24-Seater Bus)

We have also arranged a 24-seater shuttle bus operating on a regular schedule:

  • Route: Coast Capri → KBC → Memorial Arena → Coast Capri

  • Frequency: Every 40 minutes

  • Days: Monday to Friday

  • Start Time: 7:40 AM

There is parking available at the Coast Capri Hotel, and participants may consider driving to the Coast, park and using the shuttle service to reach the venues

Parking & Travel Considerations đźš—

Parking will be limited during the tournament at both venues:

  • Kelowna Badminton Club (KBC): Limited parking

  • Memorial Arena: Paid parking, Limited parking on weekdays

We strongly encourage all participants and spectators to make use of the shuttle service where possible or consider carpooling.

Important Notes ⚠️

  • Athletes staying at the Sandman Hotel will need to arrange their own transportation to the venues

  • Kelowna offers several app-based transportation services, including Uber, URide, and Current Taxi. For a full list of transportation options, please visit: https://www.masters2026.ca/get-here

  • While we are providing these services, it remains the athlete’s responsibility to arrive at their venue on time for their matches

Our Commitment to the Athlete Experience đź’™

We are offering these transportation services at no cost as part of our commitment to making your experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible.

At the same time, we want to ensure everyone is aware of the real-world logistics and challenges, so you can plan ahead and avoid any last-minute stress.

We are continuing to explore additional ways to improve transportation throughout the tournament week.
