Thank You, Alberta Masters Community 💙

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Alberta Masters community for their incredible generosity and support during the 2026 Glencoe Masters Tournament in Calgary.

A special thank you goes to Jody Patrick, who took the lead in organizing a truly creative and thoughtful fundraising initiative to support the upcoming 2026 Yonex Canadian Masters Championships in Kelowna.

The idea was simple, fun, and brilliant - an auction featuring six ex-Olympic players, where successful bidders earn the chance to play with them at the upcoming 2026 Winter Club Doubles tournament in March. The response was overwhelming. Every player was successfully auctioned, the event generated huge excitement, and together with additional donations from the community, over $3,000 was raised in support of Nationals.

This was a fantastic example of what makes the Masters community so special: creativity, generosity, and a genuine willingness to support one another. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who participated, donated, and helped make this initiative such a success.
