Social Events Update

We would like to share an important update regarding the social events for the 2026 Yonex Canadian Masters Championships.

Event Availability

Due to strong demand, both the Welcome Event and the Farewell Banquet are now fully sold out. At this time, we are unable to accommodate any additional requests for these events. We kindly ask that participants not send payments for these two events, as we will not be able to process or confirm any further bookings.

Theme Night 🎭 tickets remain available, but are nearing sell-out. If you are planning to attend, we encourage you to secure your spot soon.

For Registered Players

As a reminder, all registered players already have access to the social events as part of their tournament registration.

These events are subsidized by the organizing committee, and a significant amount of time, effort, and fundraising has gone into creating a fun, welcoming, and memorable experience for everyone attending.

To ensure fairness and to preserve the integrity of this support:

  • Social event tickets included with player registration are non-transferable

  • Entry to these events will be limited to the registered player only

This approach ensures that the benefits of subsidized pricing are directed toward participating athletes, as intended.

Allowing transfers would mean that non-registered individuals benefit from these subsidized costs, which would be unfair to friends and family members who have purchased tickets separately at full price.

Our goal is to prioritize the athlete experience while also ensuring that resources are used thoughtfully and responsibly to deliver the best possible tournament for each participating player.

A Small Request to Help Us Plan Better 💙

To help us deliver the best possible event, we kindly ask for your support:

If you are a registered player and do not plan to attend one or more of the social events, we would greatly appreciate you letting us know.

This allows us to:

  • better manage our commitments with venues and vendors

  • reduce unnecessary costs

  • reallocate resources toward enhancing other aspects of the tournament experience

Even a quick note makes a meaningful difference and helps us plan more efficiently for the entire community.

Once again, you letting us know will lead to efficient utilization of our resources, and we will be able to utilize this money to make other aspects of the tournament better and more enjoyable.

Thank You 🙏

We are incredibly grateful for the enthusiasm and support from the Masters community. Your participation and cooperation help us create an event that is enjoyable for everyone.

We look forward to welcoming you to Kelowna this April!
